The Opening Ceremony of the Asian Draughts Championship 2026 was successfully held today at 10:00 at the Le Grande Plaza Hotel in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The event brought together distinguished guests, officials, representatives of member federations, arbiters, coaches, players, and young athletes from across Asia.
The Asian Draughts Confederation expresses its sincere gratitude to the Uzbekistan Draughts Federation, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the organizers, partners, arbiters, volunteers, and all participating member federations for their important contribution to the successful opening of the championship.
The championship now begins its intensive program of competitions across several disciplines, bringing together 328 players from 13 member federations.
